Rachel: Mom I want to be a geneologist when I grow up!
Mom: That's great! Did you know Grandma Cole is a geneologist?
Rachel and Sarah: Wow! Really? No!
Mom notes how very impressed and how excited they are over geneology, and how proud they are of their grandmother.
Mom: Yeah, it is very important. She does a lot of it on her mission. Grandpa too.
Sarah: Has she found any fossils?
Mom realizes what they really mean.
Mom: Oh, you mean an archeologist.
Rachel: Yeah, we want to find dinosaurs like Grandma and Grandpa Cole!
Mom is having a hard time explaining that their grandparents are not leading expeditions and archeological digs on their mission.
Sarah: Can you bring kids with you if you are an archeologist?
Mom: It depends on where you are digging and how dangerous the site is and if you are homeschooling your kids and if your husband is coming.
Sarah: Hmmm.
She wants to be a mother, but there are so many other tempting vocations. She often asks about the realistic possibilities of her being a mother and whatever else she is thinking of that day. Good to know she is thinking ahead.
