April '13

Adam's friend Alana came over one evening to play while her mom was in a meeting. We rolled water balloons down the slide and had a blast laughing at them.
Then we discovered a leak under the sink we'd been using to fill the water balloons. We sprang into action and lined the kids up to save all the food storage hiding underneath. I keep waterproof containers down there just in case something like this happens, I'm so glad to have taken that precaution. We fixed the leak a few days later and all is well, but it made for an exciting night.
We made our fame on the Poet Tree, but whose leaf was placed front and center?
Tyler's!

Alana came to stay with us on and off for a few days. She helped with chores and was a great addition to the family.
Sunday dinner, Rachel in her new white floor length dress she's been looking for and Adam eating an apple with chopsticks?

This is what Monday night looks like. The girls reading until our violin teacher Brother Abegg comes. It is so fun to hear their music.
Adam cute and cozy in the morning.
Adam and Alana making experiments together.
We made play-dough and they just wanted to keep mixing random ingredients to make "experiments."
 Making laundry fun.
Little Mommy Rachel reading to Adam and Alana before bed.
Sarah the geneologist getting more help on Family Tree from Grandpa by phone.
Sarah teaching Rachel what she knows.
Adam helping Mommy exercise.
Not so helpful.
But very fun.
Sarah zonked out on the couch which is very unusual. We had fun seeing how "out" she was and making her snuggle Mickey. Alana was a joy to have and we are glad she is happily back home with Mom.
