The kids always look forward to dental cleanings, because Daddy meets us there. During my turn they pick a car color and count cars as they pass by and who gets the most (they got it from UP).
And because we have the greatest dentist. Darwin Davis is always gentle, fast, great with kids and on time. The kids pick out their outfits a month in advance just to see him!
The ward campout, we got there really early to enjoy some time alone and played games in the tent. We even brought Dad's law books camping so he could prepare for finals! Lucky guy!
Hiking the next morning on the quail trail.
You can see Adam brought along a friend.
May 5th we had our quarterly activity. Here we are
Tying a quilt that didn't get tied at the Relief Society activity.
The kids were really glad they got the opportunity to help and learn how to.
It made a fun family night while listening to conference talks.
Kids being sick and silly.
At least being sick gives them time to knit, which they really enjoy.
Adam doing his chores. He is being very clever to cover his face before spraying up, so it won't get on his face.
Mother's Day, Adam's photography
Kids playing sweetly
Going on a visit as a family.
Working in the kitchen together, making a roast assembly line.
Playing The Farming Game, so fun!
For "Mommy Class" we watched Darci and Kellen. We like taking opportunities to practice for when Sarah is 12 so she'll be ready for babysitting. We also just love having little ones around.
Adam snuggling Kellen.
Sarah enjoying Kellen
Swimming with Darci.
Good sleeper
Dad reading scriptures, I'm glad Adam sees this good example and takes the opportunity for some alone time.
We just didn't get enough camping, so the kids set up the tent by themselves and had a sibling sleepover in there over the 3 day weekend. We had to think of some way to make it special even though we can't go anywhere. There is just too must studying to be done.
Swimming at Sunset...
with Dad, what a novelty! We'll get him a tan yet! Graduation is very soon.
Adam and Rachel snuggling watching their favorite Saturday morning cartoons, Adam's is Alfred Hedgehog and Rachel's is Liberty's Kids.
Other things we did this month:
Had a Relief Society Dinner
Had a goodbye pool party and "Night in Paris" farewell with Eden Vining's family.
Went to Camp LoMia to clean and paint tables.
Went to Pauline Perez's husband's funeral and played basketball with her kids to cheer them up.
Went to the temple with Tyler while Sarah watched her siblings at the visitors center for the first time alone.
Graduated Law School!
Thus ends a wonderful May.
