In June we had a special visitor. Elder Ballard came to our stake conference. Rachel wore her new dress that she picked out and helped Adam look extra handsome.
We all got to shake his hand. It was a very special meeting. The girls wanted to sing with the choir and at the last minute they were invited to. Elder Ballard told Rachel she looked like an angel and the mission president gave her his lei, the girl who wants so badly to be a missionary. The Lord was blessing them.
Talk about snitching the cookie dough.
I don't think Adam is recyclable, but he sure is cute.
Having a little jam session. The kids made up a funny music game with Adam on his violin, Rachel on the harp from Aunt Fran and Sarah on the drum.
Special Buddies.
Extra Special Buddies.
The kids enjoying a little run through the sprinklers.
Adam pretending the water barrel pump is his fire hose.
Good thing he put out the fire on those burning dishes!
We had the youth come over for Bishop Youth Discussion. We love when they come. It is so much fun to feel the spirit with them and get to teach them, then to have fun with silly games.
This is not a weird dance, they are seeing who will end up with the longest tape nose.
Adam Myers won!
On a random day I decided we needed to run in some real sprinklers, where there is actually enough room to run...so we headed over to the park and were not disappointed.
We hit the splash pad afterwards and enjoyed it thoroughly!
Father's Day!
Ty wanted rubber tires so he'd never have a hole in his bike tire again!
Sweet family watching a church movie.
Here come the cute Adam pictures. Here he is taking his bear Snickers "camping."
Talking to loved ones on the phone. Adam loves talking on the phone, he'll go on and on and on...
Call him anytime.
Random picture I found, at least he is fed healthy foods, even if he hasn't been taught table manners.
Adam built this cute lap table with his very own tools and wood. He is very proud of it. He painted the parts he wanted to and uses it every day for his apple snack during Superwhy (or Wordworld).
Adam's last soy bump finally oozed. It was full of creamy white puss and has been there for 3 years.
I am glad it finally has gone. He is doing much better with soy.
My favorite little fireman.
Another great night with the youth, but this time we are just playing. We began having Friday game nights at our house to give the youth a quality activity to attend if they had nothing great to do on a Friday. They have been super fun.
We played "knock your socks off." Sarah and Rachel love that they get to be involved with the youth even though they aren't 12 yet... but Sarah only has one more month! All the kids include them.
The young men are all so great with Adam, it's nice for him to have "brotherly" friends.
In this heat we are getting creative about how to enjoy indoor activities but still make the most of the sun. We built an ice castle out of differently shaped containers filled will water, then timed how long it took to melt in the hot sun....it was not long.
Sarah has been painting. This is her waterfall and mist painting.
Adam feeling a little tired, but still wanting to have his traditional snack with his table and Superwhy. Doesn't he look cozy!
Other things we did this month:
