We started off November sick.
Adam and Rachel got Mononucleosis and were very sick. At first I thought they just had too much Halloween candy!
Adam's got an enlarged spleen and it got hit in PE and he started throwing up and couldn't stop so we had to go to the hospital to make sure it hadn't ruptured.
One gentle activity we could do was attend a Beethoven piano concert at a Christian church a few blocks from our house
This man was such an amazing pianist and had this Bronze mask of Beethoven to share with us.
I couldn't believe there were only 17 people who were interested in this amazing cultural event held at a nearby Christian church. That tells you a lot about Kingman. Drag Racing they care about.
Beethoven not so much.
The soccer buddies. Adam is still trying to participate, but very weak.
Random Sunday after church
Doing our Come Follow Me time.
We love this program, especially because church is shorter now to allow us time to do it.
What a blessing.
We are preparing for a special trip to Utah for Sarah's endowment over Thanksgiving break. I ordered all her temple clothing and altered it to fit me so now I know it will fit Sarah.
We are bringing her a tiny Christmas tree.
The kids were happy to decorate for Christmas a little early since we won't be here on Thanksgiving.
I think the foosball table is festive, makes it feel like Santa's workshop full of fun things.
The youth in our ward took a trip to the Vegas temple and then the Adventure Dome.
They had a great time. Adam was there too, but no boys made it into the pictures.
Rachel was trying to get a shot of these purple trees for Sarah.
She handed me the camera and asked for help.
Which yielded her favorite picture of me to date. This is me and my classic "I don't get it" face.
I could not figure out how to turn off selfie mode on her phone.
Guess it's time for a haircut.
To Utah
Our wonderful hosts, and their pig turkey
We had fun playing games in the basement.
I wish all sister could be so close.
Thanksgiving day we spent at Sarah's apartment alone as a family and decorated her tiny tree.
Mommy snuggles.
It started snowing.
Snowflake snack
We had no idea it would keep snowing all night and make it nearly impossible to get to the temple the next day for Sarah's endowment. Our Kia did terrible in the snow and slipped everywhere. The snow was so thick and deep it took us an hour to get to the temple instead of 10 minutes.

Checking that the dress would fit, I took the opportunity to snap a pic in the snow.
Proud Grandma
Adam stayed with Cory and Cheryl while we went to the temple.
After finally safely arriving at the temple, they'd lost her reservation. Others didn't show up for their live endowments due to the snow so there was still room for her.
While we waited we went to the little visitors center.
The whole group, we were so glad everyone made it safely.
Rachel spent her time in the baptistry and did 113 baptisms! Rachel was getting hit on by the baptizer, but she didn't mind. He paid her no more attention when he learned she was in high school, not college.
We are all so proud of Sarah. She feels Heavenly Father has blessings of health that will now help her to start healing. What a better option than shopping on Black Friday!
Saturday we did sealings at the Provo temple. Sarah wanted to do experience everything, even if she isn't getting sealed yet.
Grandpa Cole was the sealer and Grandpa Gary was able to come!
Rachel again spent her time in the baptistry.
I had fun running into my 9th grade seminary teacher Brother Jim Christensen. His wife Gail was my camp leader. It brought back good memories.
I'm so glad my girls love the temple and make it a priority in the lives. It is worth every sacrifice.
Our sweet chauffer. He lost a glove and was so sad.
It turned up and he was so happy.
We stopped by Deseret Book to exchange some garments and saw this adorable picture.
It reminds me how personal Christ's love is for us. Even helping us find the lost glove that is not that important, but makes us feel loved.
