Christmas-time is here

Snuggling Daddy for precious moments before he goes to work in the morning. We can hardly bear to let him go.

During finals and tithing settlement we miss Daddy, so Friday instead of family movie night we opted for a game so we could be more interactive.

Twister always ends up like this. Very interactive, in fact it doesn't get any more interactive than this.

Ending the night with chocolate time.

The next morning we cleaned the church and went to Shane's birthday party at Scooptacular, we had a great time.

Monday family home morning we learned about the miracle of the loaves and the fishes.

Adam and Rachel vigorously leading the music.

A random shot. How did those pants get left on the way to the Christmas tree?

The primary article of faith banana split party. The more you know, the more you get! All that hard work pays off.

My little baker. The holiday baking has never beckoned me as it did this year. I wanted to try making everything.

We made caramel and chocolate dipped pretzels for Dad to give at work and for neighbors. We had so much fun during our dipping party we started dipping everything we could think of in chocolate: vanilla wafers, crackers, chips, marshmallows, raspberries, blueberries, strawberries, grapes, popcorn...

Hey, I told those kids to do their schoolwork. Where are they?

Aha!

Daddy gets to join us for dinner now that finals are over. We have our own violinist serenading us during dinner.

Another random shot of Adam, this time cheering up the girls. Howdy.

Another fun movie night.

I found these little sweeties reading Christmas stories from the Friend by the tree together.

Finally Christmas Eve!

The Reeve's joined us in time for chocolate time and singing.

We all watched ELF, hilarious.

Then Santa came and the kids came down to see what he brought.

Sarah and Rachel were thrilled to see Hally and MayLynn. They were so sure Santa would bring them, they had brought down their horses (from Santa 2 years ago) to meet them.

Rachel and her pig

Adam was happy to see Mac Truck.

Sarah was thrilled to see the back-ordered outfit for her doll that she thought wouldn't come for weeks. Grandma and Grandpa Cole had helped by finding the exact outfit in stock at their Toys R Us and sending it in the mail just in time!

The packaging can be so difficult.

Adam happily organized his cars and kept saying, "I got everything!"

Mom's favorite gifts, special childhood cards from Aunt Fran, Psych from Ty, letters from my girls, and behind you can see my awesome picture of my siblings and parents from Lo.

The girls had a great time snuggling up to watch a movie in our delicious blanket from the Elders with their new dolls.

During their movie and Mom iced and heated Dad's migraine while he talked with family members. Adam stayed nearby lining up his cars again.

Mom forgot about the rice bag she heated Dad's with, but Adam didn't. He ripped it open on the bed and ate as much of the rice as he could before being discovered.

Merry Christmas!

We love snuggling Adam and resting after so much Christmas fun.

Time to put away the tree and decorations and prepare for another great year.
