Practicing synchronized swimming.

Sunday morning noticing how my girls have grown up.

Welcoming dutiful husband home.

Getting dutiful husband's car fixed. Tyler's CD player broke and we tried to install a new stereo ourselves, so he could continue to maximize his commute with scripture CDs. Instead, we disconnected the A/C and had to pay not only for the stereo installation, but for the A/C to get fixed as well, ugh. We admit defeat knowing we just aren't that mechanically inclined. Adam is keeping an eye on McQueen (that is what he calls Ty's car, of course he calls mine Sally), he was very concerned.

Our good friend Mitch Menlove passed away suddenly. It was shocking and sad to have him leave his family and friends so suddenly and so young. He was such an inspiring man and we have felt so uplifted and motivated by his example. After the service we went to the 5 & Diner, he used to take his wife on their dates. Tyler wanted to spend the afternoon, and many like it, doing what Mitch would do.

The waiter wondered why we were so emotional ordering our hamburgers and shakes. This was in the sky. A Mitch-a-mony.

I had to get my car fixed after (yes more car stuff), this is us waiting at the dealership. What a difference between girls and boys!

Adam has been experimenting with his wardrobe. He loves to pick out his own clothes now, which means the outfit usually consists of red or blue shorts of some kind (depending on which are dirty). Dad is making the most of his time with us before school starts. Adam loves to "cook" for us in his little kitchen from Aunt Luise.

Rachel outfitting Adam in her helmet, because he wanted it. And what did he want it for?

Dancing to Wiggles, he's in a Wiggles phase. Every time we go to the library he gets one Wiggles DVD. That's it. No books. He carries it all around, then checks it out himself, holds it in the car...and it has to go straight in the DVD player when we get home. I'm not sure why he thought he needed the helmet this time. I guess Wiggles DVD's can get pretty dangerous.

Hey what's in the box?

Peek! It's me, shirtless Adam!

Giddyup, they are playing "Uncle Van"

Sarah's 9 year old birthday party!

Adam enjoying his popsicle.

Present time with the family after eating at McDonald's.
