May brings the school wrap-up season of awards and parent nights before summer.
At Manzanita we saw Adam's art work from this 3rd grade year.
Adam's self portrait.
Adam with Mr. Baitinger.
It was quite a process this year to find the right fit of a classroom for Adam and we were so happy to find Mr. Baitinger. He has been great for Adam.
We had a great time at the yearly ward campout. This is the girls playing frisbee, we also learned horseshoes, and of course stayed up late chatting around the fire.
Happy Mother's Day!
I'm so happy for the wonderful children I've been blessed with.
Adam and Rachel played this game knocking over water bottles with tennis balls in hose.
What skilled children!
Cute Peterson kids playing vikings together. I've been helping train them to clean their house. They are such a fun, close family with tons of creativity.
Rachel and her friends on the last day of school.
Adam and his friends on the last day of school.
It's officially time for summer!
We went to Ventura, CA! We visited my parents in their mission condo.
Mom had just had surgery, so we were happy to come entertain her.
They live right by the beach.
These sisters were excited to test out the new boogie boards Aunt Fran sent us!
They sure knew what to do.
Adam found a dead fish at the beach. He fed it to a seagull.
Adam got buried in sand.
I got buried in Rachel. It was a little cold, so I didn't mind the warmth.
We celebrated upcoming birthdays.
Grandma and Grandpa shared family stories from their childhoods.
Sunday we enjoyed playing at the institute building where they teach.
My loving children.
Grandpa took us for a walk down the pier.
So romantic!
Sweet Sisters
Then he took us out to Dippin' Dots. Yum!
Grandma took us for a tour around the condo community. Notice the walker she is using, we were so glad we'd brought it to Grandma, she ended up really needing it.
We were so happy to get special time to visit with Grandparents!
