October 2015

Conference Weekend. Yum.
Cute buddies playing on conference weekend.
Listening to all the good talks. Hoping for direction. Tyler had received his second job offer, only to have that one retracted too, the day before he was to start. It was hard to keep going up and down.
Tyler had an interview for an attorney position in Kingman on the 16th. We to go with him to check out the town. The little town of 34,000 is bigger than we thought. I found a park and a Little Caesar's so we could have a little picnic after we picked him up from the interview and he told us all about it.

I got invited to be a speaker at the Youth Conference. It was very fun, and fun to know the kids planned it and asked for me. My topic was "Being a Light to the World."
The boy across from Sarah is Ramone, who calls me Mom from back during the temple celebration. I love knowing the youth and working with them, and I love that Sarah is there to be a part of it too.

Team Building Exercises.
Natalia
Aiden Halterman wandering around so cute.
Colby Jones being so funny, drinking rain water off the water dispenser. I love that our stake is family friendly and little ones can tag along.
Rachel's sign to come hug her when I got back late.
Sisters reunited. I can't wait till Rachel gets to be a part of all the wonderful youth activities too.

Park Hunting
Very fun school reward.
A sunrise hike.

It was a surprise to see these guys at our library.
So funny.
Happy birthday to Rachel! You are finally 12.

Now she can join us at our temple trips!
Halloween Costumes for the ward party. Adam is the Lego King from his Castle Lego set. Rachel is Super Babysitter...with a picture of a diaper on her tiara.
It is so funny to me how our town's thing is cows because of all the dairies...do we really have to decorate with them at the parks even?!
Adam climbing trees at the church one night.
Rotating the food storage, everyone likes getting involved.
We have outgrown the giraffe chair, so sad, time to sell it.
The kids did their reading requirements to get free ride passes to the fair, so we redeemed them the day the girls did their ballet duet at the fair. They danced so well together, and then we got to enjoy the fair. Thanks Miss Hannah. You have been such a fun teacher. We got offered the job in Kingman and this was the day we got to tell people we would be moving. Big news. It was Halloween and Tyler was set to start November 2nd. We were hesitant to really believe it. With two offers withdrawn the day before you start, it is hard to believe that the third time really will be the charm. The plan was for Tyler to go up and start working as he lived in a hotel and find us somewhere to live.
Adam liked the model train exhibit.
It was very cool.
They chose the swings.
The wild mouse ride.
And Bumper Cars, classics.
Then we got to meet up with Aunt Luise and Scott and Janice at the Mesa temple then went out to eat, and she gave each child a darling Christmas pillow.
That night we had our Halloween traditions of bobbing for apples
and making them into caramel apples. We also each chose a candy at the store and shared while watching Charlie Brown and the Great Pumpkin. Tyler had always been gone on Halloween for school and so the fact that he had a Bishop emergency didn't really matter, he's never been a part of it...yet.
