We attended the most interesting birthday for an African friend of ours, Sarah Goodman. She had an African Christian group sing for us and celebrate her life and the life of Christ. It was very sweet.
Adam taught Family Night with an object lesson with snuggle buddies on how to be kind.
Sarah was in charge of planning a Mother-Daughter night for the young women. We dressed like each other and played relay games like...
putting on make-up
and changing a diaper.
Mother's Day with my children.
And in our more natural state...
Backyard Picnic
Now that Dad is home with us trying to start up Palmer Law we have lots of fun!
Soccer Season comes to an end.
The loyal supporters eat pizza and cheer!
Time to start the summer swimming!
My friend Meghan Pennell came to town. It's hard to believe she was once the little laurel while I served in Young Women's and now she is the mother of two little boys and a third on the way!
The great camp preparation projects begin! We are putting together the spiritual reading material for YCL's and leaders to use and prepare with. What a project. Sarah said, "That's a lot of doctrine!...Can I have one?"
Also as part of camp preparation we needed to get all the girls swim certified so they could go out on the lake in the canoes. Our ward certified first and I was early bringing the beehives home, so we decided to do a little extra night swimming at our pool...hehee. That way Rachel got to join in the fun even though she isn't 12 yet.
It is nice to feel like everything is just about ready for camp and pre-camp certification day, because we are headed off to vacation with Grandma and Grandpa Cole first and then camp!
