July

Home from Utah, and time for swimming season to continue in full swing.
We found "fudgies" without soy, which Adam is very happy about.
Swimming season meant new goggles for Rachel, which she loves.
Even for coloring apparently. I'm so happy Adam is learning to enjoy coloring, not with crayons yet, but markers are a good start. It has been difficult getting him interested in writing with anything.
Adam and I made our first French bread. No soy. Adam was so happy.
Dad was so happy.
Snugsters.
A rare rainy day.
Splashing in puddles.
Marching up the "rock river."

The kids love it when our neighbor James comes out with his dogs, Molly and Bella.
Sarah being silly at the store about what present to get for her friend's birthday.
We had Benton and Ethan over to play. You can see why Rachel loves this little innocent face!
He had to borrow Adam's clothes.  It seems someone always needs to when they come over.
Adam and Ethan had a great bubble time, and enjoyed climbing across their "bridge."
The happy face of finding non-soy bagels at Fresh and Easy.
At scripture reading the family showed up, plus superhero.
Can you guess their secret identities?
These two buddies got really into making (and wearing) masks for a week.

Just a funny picture, spilled eggnog and a funny face.
On my birthday we cut our mesquite tree way back.
Adam used the biggest tree branch for a jungle gym.
Reading.

Sarah's friends are always out of town during her birthday, but she was so happy Daisy was available to spend the afternoon with Sarah.  They made apple pies together and then made silly movies.
It made the day so special.

That night after dinner she opened her presents...
Purse, Lego's, Art stuff, cute erasers, one of Sarah's favorite presents was her own can of Pringles.
She wanted brownies and ice cream, not cake!
She can't wait to start year 11, oh the wonders that await her.
I'm not much for feet pictures, but I like this one Adam took during the party.
Adam, Mom, Rachel.
Swimming
Dad's first time swimming with us all year.
Rachel "decorated" Adam.
What did she do to me?
Dad got a terrible ear infection, he could hardly hear anything. We finally got to a doctor and he had to spend a lot of time laying with medicine in his ear for a week until it cleared up.
Adam followed hoping to make it an opportunity to play.
Dad's work moved from Uptown to the capital building.  I snapped a picture where we met him by the elevators. We went to see how he was settling in.  Every other office had some sort of personal touch, but his is completely blank. Huge, clean, empty and not one thing on the giant walls.
The kids plan to color him some pictures to make his work environment more fun.

Here are our snugsters..."Nuggling."

What a fun work environment I get to work in.
